The ALERT FM Rapid Response System leverages our proven FM-based technology to provide complete emergency communication from schools to first responders and from school officials to parents. This satellite-based system can be used by schools for a wide range of emergency events including an active shooter, building evacuations, lockdowns, bomb threats, student violence, campus intruders, school bus incidents, fires and explosions, hurricanes, tornadoes, flash flooding and winter storms.
School to First Responder Notification
Authorized teachers and other staff members will be able to download the ALERT FM SOS app on their iOS or Android device. The application will allow users to personalize the app to include their class schedule and classroom location. In the event of an emergency, the user can select a panic button right on the app which will send a SOS message to ALERT FM receivers strategically placed with the principal, student resource officer, and at the E-911 communication office. First responders and Police in the immediate area will also
receive notification of the S.O.S on their ALERT FM First Responder app.
